08-24-2007 – Elliot Responds to Michigan
Consumers Energy called on the Davis H. Elliot Company Thursday evening to assist in their power restoration efforts. A line of strong thunderstorms interrupted service to thousands of their electric customers.
Consumers Energy reported that approximately 260,000 of their customers had been affected by this storm. Elliot has over 100 line-workers working in and around Battle Creek (South Central), Michigan restoring power.

I wanted to send my thanks to your crews who have traveled to our area to help repair storm damage here in Battle Creek, Michigan. We saw nearly two dozen of your trucks yesterday and a few today. It was heartwarming.
