12-11-2007 – Elliot Responds to Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma
During this past weekend severe freezing rain and snow poured down on Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Power utilities from these mid-west states have called on Elliot to assist in the power restoration of their customers.
Davis H. Elliot has mobilized numerous crews of over 400 line workers coming from Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio and Tennessee responding to AEP, Ameren, Westar Energy and Electric Cooperatives throughout this region.

I want to say a big thank you for sending your crews to Topeka to help restore power from Monday's ice storm. The Elliot crews came to our rescue today and gave us our lives back! 3 days at 45 degrees in the dark was very depressing! I told the crew that they were "Saviors". They didn't see themselves in that role but they truly were! Thanks again and please thank the crew that worked on our home and tell them "A job well done!"

I just wanted to let you know how helpful your crews working here in Hutchinson KS have been. They helped restore power to my home today and were very friendly and pleasant.
I know they are working long days under less than the best conditions and just thought corporate should know that they are doing a good job.
