Elliot crews respond to assist with power restoration efforts.
Elliot crews respond to assist with power restoration efforts in the wake of a strong winter storm that blanketed the Mid-Atlantic region again with up to two feet of snow in some areas. The strong winds combined with the falling snow produced blizzard like conditions leaving thousands of customers of local utilities, cooperatives and municipals throughout the region without electricity.
Elliot has mobilized hundreds of additional resources to assist with local crews in this power restoration effort at AEP/Appalachian Power, Baltimore Gas & Electric, Central Virginia Electric Cooperative, City of Danville, Craig-Botetourt Electric Cooperative, Dayton Power & Light, Dominion and Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative.
Crews have been mobilized in the following states; Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia in response to this historic snowstorm.
